With Ginormous News, I have set up 20 agents to listen to international news radio broadcasts from around the world, and distill the most globally significant events into a daily briefing sent directly to the user’s inbox.
This started from a desire to be more informed. I was browsing Google News constantly, installed all the news apps, and still I was missing important global events. It felt like I was being siloed into American media because of geographic and linguistic barriers. And so, I started building Ginormous News.
These agents aggregate news stories in 10 different languages from countries all around the world. In the amount of time that I have had this service up, I have already seen countless hugely significant stories that simply did not make it to the frontpage in any major news site.
