General Task

I joined General Task in order to help improve the productivity of all knowledge workers. We were able to work effectively as a team, find real customer pain points, and build a product to solve them. In these efforts, we successfully built and launched our first product, the consumer version of the General Task app.

My goal when joining General Task was to learn everything there was to know about running an early stage startup. While I am a ways away from this goal (I might be chasing it the rest of my life), I’m well on the way. I’ve learned about marketing, sales, engineering, managing, and so much more!

Although General Task is no longer operational, it was a fantastic learning experience, and helped me learn so much. I hope to apply what I have learned to new opportunities!
